A+ Certification Training Revision News
The revised A+ exam will launch in the linear (conventional) format. The objectives have been posted on our Web site at www.comptia.org as of September 8, 2000. The name of the exams will also change. The A+ Core Service Technician exam will change to the A+ Core Hardware Exam and the A+ DOS/Windows Service Technician exam will change to A+ Operating System (OS) Technologies Exam. The exam code for the A+ Core Hardware exam will be 220-201 and the exam code for the A+ OS Technologies exam will be 220-202.
The domains for the Core Hardware Exam are:

Beta
The beta for the A+ revisions will occur on November 22, 2000 and conclude at the end of business day (5:00pm Central Time) December 8, 2000. Pre-registration will not be available for the beta.
