Implementing A Domino Infrastructure

Summary Description
Following a prescribed roll-out plan, students will install and set up one or more Domino servers in a scaleable fashion, including necessary topologies, Notes client set up, and browser client configuration.

Objectives:
By the end of this course, the student should be able to: Install, set up and configure one or more Domino servers Add users and setup associated clients in the Domino environment Troubleshoot common install and setup problems Compile an action item list for use back at the job, specific for installing and setting up the student's environment.

Audience:
Administrators new to Domino who will be responsible for initial install and set up of Domino R5 servers

Prerequisites:
Either: Senior level system administration experience, and is new to Domino R5, and; Already attended the following Domino R5 end user courses: Introducing the Notes Client Extending the Notes Client, and; Strongly recommend attending the Maintaining Domino Users (SA330) course
Or: Mid level administrative experience, and some experience with Domino R5, and; Already attended the following Domino R5 end user course: Moving to Notes Mail, and; Strongly recommend attending the Maintaining Domino Users (SA330) course
