Application Developer Rel. 2

Audience

Application Developers using Oracle Developer Rel. 2 who have completed training in their job role and have at least six months of experience.

Candidates certified on Rel. 2 will be automatically upgraded to Rel. 6/6i starting in late 2000.

Test Preparation, Registration, Test Content
Oracle strongly recommends that all candidates review the Candidate Guide. Candidates selecting the Mixed Release Path (below) will need to consult more than one Guide to assemble the correct set of Test Content Checklists.

Exams Required for Rel. 2 Application Developer Certification

Oracle Developer Rel. 2 Core Path (5 Exams)
Take the core exams exclusively from the Oracle Developer Rel. 2 track.

Oracle Developer Rel. 2 Mixed Release Path (5 Exams)
Take exam #1z0-122 Build Forms II. Take the introductory Forms exam and the Reports exam from any OCP Application Developer track.

Developer Rel. 1 to Rel. 2 Upgrade Path (1 exam)
Candidates certified on Developer/2000 Rel. 1 take exam #1z0-120 Developer/2000 Rel. 2 New Features. (Candidates certified on Rel. 1 can also choose to upgrade directly to Rel. 6/6i by taking exam #1z0-130 Oracle Forms Rel. 1 to Rel. 6/6i New Features, skipping Rel. 2 certification.)

Before you register for any OCP exam, read the Candidate Agreement. Once you have completed one of the above paths, you will receive your OCP Success Kit within 30 days from your last exam. Your success kit will include your OCP Certificate, OCP ID Card and information on how to access your OCP logo for business cards and letterhead.
