Oracle Internet Application Developer 6/6i Certification Track
The Oracle Certified Internet Application Developer Track is a path that results in the award of a credential to proven performers in the role of application developer. The track consists of four tests designed so you can translate your knowledge and skills into a tangible, industry-recognized professional certification. There are two alternative paths that lead to Internet Application Developer 6/6i Certification.

The Core Path is for those starting their certification with Oracle Internet Application Developer 6/6i.

The Upgrade Path is designed for those who are already certified or who plan to complete certification for Oracle Application Developer Release 1 or 2.

Oracle recommends candidates to download the candidate guide which will provide detailed information on track specifics: preparation, registration, and testing information.

Audience for Certification
Application Developers who, ideally, are currently performing in this job role and have at least six months on-the-job experience such as:

OCP exams are offered at Authorized Prometric Testing Centers worldwide. The cost of each exam is US$125. Pricing is subject to change.

Oracle Certified Internet Application Developer Candidate Guide

Oracle strongly recommends that all candidates review the Candidate Guide. Candidates selecting the Mixed Release Path (below) will need to consult more than one Guide to assemble the correct set of Test Content Checklists.

Exams Required for Internet Application Developer 6/6i Certification

Internet Application Developer Rel. 6/6i Core Path (4 Exams)
Take the core exams exclusively from the Rel. 6/6i track.

Internet Application Developer Rel. 6/6i Mixed Release Path (4 Exams)
Take exam #1z0-132 Build Internet Applications II. Take the introductory Forms exam from any OCP Application Developer track.

Internet Application Developer Rel. 6/6i Upgrade from Rel. 2 (no exam)
Candidates certified on Developer Rel. 2 will automatically be upgraded to Rel. 6/6i certification starting in late 2000.

Internet Application Developer Rel. 6/6i Upgrade from Rel. 1 (1 exam)
Candidates certified on Developer/2000 Rel. 1 take exam #1z0-130 Oracle Forms Rel. 1 to Rel. 6/6i New Features.

Before you register for any OCP exam, read the Candidate Agreement. Once you have completed one of the above paths, you will receive your OCP Success Kit within 30 days from your last exam. Your success kit will include your OCP Certificate, OCP ID Card and information on how to access your OCP logo for business cards and letterhead.
